INNER CRITIC COACHING SESSION • ANTON ZEMLYANOY
Work With Your Inner Critic, Not Against It
AU$350 • 60 MINUTES • ONE IMPORTANT SHIFT
1. Name the pattern
We identify the specific inner critic pattern that is getting in your way — the voice, the trigger, and the story it tells you about yourself.
2. Understand its purpose
Your inner critic developed for a reason — usually to protect you from something. We uncover what that is, so you can respond to it differently.
3. Leave with a strategy
You walk away with a concrete way to work with this pattern going forward — not a theory, but something you can use the same day.

WHO THIS SESSION IS FOR
For When Your Inner Critic Gets In The Way
• You second-guess decisions, hold back from speaking up, or feel like you're not good enough — despite evidence to the contrary.
• Your inner critic gets loud in specific situations — meetings, presentations, a new role, creative work — and you want to understand why.
• You want clarity on one specific inner critic challenge — not an ongoing coaching commitment.
• You want a strategy that you can use on your own to improve your inner dialogue.
“Inner Critic: a negative set of beliefs we hold about ourselves.”

About me
I believe our goals need to excite us, be aligned with who we are and even make us a little nervous. While my clients are reaching for those goals, I invite them to pay attention to their inner dialogue because it is this dialogue that impacts how we react to both successes and failures, how our relationships are shaped and what goals we set in the first place.
I actively listen out for my clients’ strengths and get great pleasure when I hear “Oh, was this in me the whole time?”
I know that deep coaching work has been carried out when my clients fall in love with all parts of themselves, sometimes again, sometimes for the first time, and are able to integrate all that they have, whether it is processed anger or enthusiasm, to act boldly and with humility in their self-expression.
Common Questions
-
In short: negative beliefs we hold about ourselves — the running commentary that says we're not enough, not ready, not deserving. Most of us have several.
They show up loudest in the situations that matter most: meetings, presentations, new roles, creative work, big decisions.
The aim of this session isn't to silence them. It's to understand what they're trying to do and how to work with them differently.
-
This session is designed to equip you with a strategy to work with your inner critic going forward. If you want a longer partnership, you can explore the Self-Talk Reset (a 3-session package) or longer-form coaching.
-
No problem — for most of my clients, coaching with me is their first ever coaching experience. The session works whether it's your first time or your fiftieth. Just bring the inner critic pattern that's getting in your way, and we'll work it from there.
-
Yes — coaching and therapy work well together. Therapy tends to look at the past and healing; coaching focuses on present-day patterns and forward action.
-
Yes — free reschedule or cancellation up to 24 hours before your session. Within 24 hours, 50% of the fee is refundable, except for genuine emergencies (those are handled case by case).
-
The worksheet gives you the framework to identify and start working with your inner critic on your own. The session is for when you've spotted the pattern but want to work through it with someone — to understand the deeper drivers and leave with a personalised approach.
Many people do the worksheet first and book a session when they hit the bit they can't move past alone.

Sometimes the harsh voice in your head isn't the one telling the truth. It’s a habitual stress response. And habits can be changed.
