About the event
Upgrade your outdated assumptions and watch as working towards your goals becomes easier and more enjoyable.
Just like a handbrake in a car is meant to ensure safety, but can make driving hard if it stays in the 'ON' position, our protective assumptions can sometimes hinder our progress. In this engaging workshop, you will uncover how these outdated beliefs can create internal barriers to success. By updating and reframing these assumptions, you will learn how to navigate towards your goals smoothly and more effectively.
Minimum age: 18
Refund policy: a full refund if requested at least 24 hours before the event. No refund for no-shows and cancellations with less than 24 hours notice.
We all talk to ourselves...
It is HOW we talk to ourselves that matters.
What do we believe about setting goals, or even working on our dreams? What do we say to ourselves after our first successes or after our first failures? How many times do we allow ourselves to miss our targets before we draw unhelpful, and often irrational, conclusions?
In this workshop, you are invited to take a look at the internal dialogues with which we operate and to start changing any outdated beliefs we have that make achieving goals harder than it needs to.
In 90 minutes, you will:
1. Learn
Understand where unproductive self-talk comes from and the protective purpose it serves
3. Get to work
Work on updating these assumptions to better suit your chosen goal
2. Take Response-Ability
Discover that you always have a few different options how to respond and try a different approach
4. Collaborate
Work with others to experience perspectives not available when we work by ourselves
